What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are downloaded from websites into a device. Cookies are essential in providing various services within the society of information. Cookies allow websites to store and retrieve information about a user or device’s browsing habits, among other services. Depending on the information they contain, cookies may recognize the users and improve the service for them.
Types of cookies
Depending on what entity manages the dominion from where the cookies are sent and how it treats the stored data, cookies can be classified into two types:

are the ones that gather analytic data on user behavior obtained through continuous analysis of the user’s browsing habits, which allows the development of a specific profile and to display advertisements based on it.

Disabling and removing cookies
One can allow, block or delete cookies downloaded onto their computer by setting the browser options installed in the system.
